When our client advised they were moving offices, we headed for the heights to one of London’s top 20 tallest buildings, Tower 42. Based on the 20th floor we were commissioned to complete a full office fit out, exchanging the 1960's office decor for modern, fresh and up to date stylistics.

Customer requirements

With limited office space due to the buildings large structural core, we were required to incorporate a client professional entrance reception area, private meeting rooms, boardrooms, staff open plan working space and director offices. As well as refurbishing the existing kitchenette tea points, common areas and W.C facilities. Solid and glass partitions had to be strategically placed to ensure the maximum views of London could be achieved for both visiting customers and employees.


The design also had to fit in with the customers colour scheme, logo and prestigious reputation. Due to the client's nature of business acoustic glass, high acoustic solid partitions and acoustic barriers and ceilings we essential. Soft furnishings were required to make the office feel relaxed and calm.


Scope of works

Full project management

Strip out of entire existing office back to core slab.

 Installation of Acoustic plasterboard partition walls using approved BG materials.

Acoustic single glazed partition system, using our lab tested acoustic laminated glazed system.

 Supply & install solid core white sprayed doors into acoustic tested aluminum door frames, including satin stainless steel ironmongery.

Ironmongery also consisting of swipe access cards to all areas of the floor space, acoustic bat wing and drop down acoustic seals.

Supply & install new hard wearing floor finished throughout.

Provide acoustic sound barriers above the existing suspended ceiling.

New reception desk and signage.

A full decoration of the entire office space.

New reception feature walls and reception desk.

New kitchenette tea point.

Install free issue client furniture and disposal of all redundant materials.

Supply & install a complete power, lighting and data fit-out.
